Our TEFL school in Patong beach, Phuket has been operating for over 20 years and offers a TEFL course unlike any other course available in Thailand. We limit classes to a maximum of 12 trainees; ensuring adequate time can be spent with each trainee throughout the course. Why be one in twenty or more? Whilst classroom time is necessary, the most important part of any real TEFL course is the teaching practice. You really want to learn how to teach? Then you have to do it! The Phuket TEFL centre is located just 2 minutes walk from the beach and the post office, banks and other amenities are all nearby. The classroom element of the course is conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned room. Teaching Practice classes will be both one-on-one and group tuition, and will range from beginner to advanced students.

Thai Language Introductory Course & Customs

These Thai lessons also give you an opportunity to experience the problems your students will encounter in learning a new language.

Thailand TEFL Course Accommodation

Accommodation is included in your TEFL course Premium Package and you will be staying at our own private hotel for 4 weeks. You are assured that accommodation booked through us will be clean, comfortable and secure.

All rooms are furnished with air conditioning, cable TV, fridge, shower room, room safe & laundry service. The hotel is superbly located in central Patong just 5 minutes from the TEFL training centre, beach, shopping and nightlife. Motorbike & jeep hire, tours and internet can be arranged via the hotel reception staff.

Your accommodation will usually be available 2 days before the course start date until 1-2 days after the course ends. Our hotel also has a small swimming pool and Free WI-FI internet access! (Please note that a "High Season" accommodation surcharge of BAHT10,000 applies to Phuket courses beginning or ending in November, December, January or February)

Thailand Visa

It will make thing easier if you apply for a Multiple Entry, Non Immigrant B Visa (NIB) visa in your home country 4-6 weeks before travelling to Thailand. We will send you a sponsor letter to support your application.

Many Thai consulates have a different interpretation of the visa regulations and may not issue NIB visas. If this is not possible, you may easily apply for a normal 60 day tourist visa at a Thai embassy or consulate before you leave. (Approx USD50 or GBP30) This visa can also be extended in Thailand for a further 30 days giving you a total of 90 days. If you plan to stay on to work in Thailand for 12 month or more, the school employing you will provide you with the necessary documentation to apply for a non-immigrant B (NIB) visa.

If you are making the application within 21 days of the expiry date on a 60-day tourist visa, you will not have to leave the country to do this, but in all other situations you will have to make a journey to a Thai embassy or consulate in a neighboring country to apply. A regular 'Visa Run' is common practice for many teachers in Thailand.
