TEFL Koh Samui
Situated in the serene waters of the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Samui is a haven for locals and foreigners alike. From sandy white beaches to verdant jungles, the island offers activities for all, whether you are seeking relaxation or adventure. The boutique-style resorts and private villas that line the shores of Koh Samui will give you the experience of a true beach lifestyle, with sand on your toes and the ocean at your door.
Before you depart, we will provide you with all the trip advice and support you need. When you arrive, we will be waiting for you at Koh Samui airport and take you to your pre-arranged accommodation--a quaint beach hut!
TEFL Course Training Center Koh Samui
The training center is located in Lamai, the second largest resort area in Koh Samui, only two-minutes away from the beach and other amenities. Our facilities are fully equipped with air-conditioned classrooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. You will get to practice teaching at a Thai government school located nearby. During the 2-week program, you will usually have evenings and weekends free to explore the local culture, attractions, and nightlife that Koh Samui has to offer. You will, however, have some homework assignments to complete.
The 2 Week TEFL Course in Koh Samui
You must complete the 40-hour online TEFL course at least 2 weeks before you arrive in Thailand. This means you will have completed most of the grammar and theory modules before you arrive at Koh Samui so that you can focus on the more practical aspects of the course while you’re here, such as teaching practice with Thai students at a local government school. You'll also enjoy a more relaxed learning experience on the island and have more free time to chill out and embrace this amazing tropical paradise!
Accommodation
All students will stay in authentic beach huts with clean beds, fans, towels/linen, and private bathrooms. WiFi Internet cards can be purchased separately. These charming beach huts do not have air-conditioning, which is usually not a problem, as you will be right on the beach, enjoying the nice sea breeze.
Although the accommodation is simple, it will be clean, comfortable, secure, and convenient. Most beach huts have garden views, but are literally 10-20 steps from the water. You will fall asleep listening to the sound of waves lapping on the shore. Once your place on the TEFL course has been confirmed, our staff will contact you to finalize your housing arrangements (those on the buddy discount or '2 for 1' package will share a beach hut).
